Outpatient Services: For our patient’s health and happiness, we pride ourselves on thorough history taking, complete client education, comprehensive physical examinations, personalized vaccination and preventative healthcare plans. If it is your pet’s first visit with us, please bring all available medical history.

Surgical Services: Our state-of-the-art surgical suite provides for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures, from spays and neuters to major orthopedic procedures. We offer cutting edge technology with the use of surgical laser equipment available with most surgeries. If needed, a board certified veterinary specialty surgeon is available for the more complex cases.

Emergency Care: During regular business hours please call (239) 369-0555 for any emergencies to notify us that you are coming. After regular business hours in the evenings or weekends, please call Specialized Veterinary Services in Fort Myers at (239) 947-0588.

Anesthesia: We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide that extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high-risk patients. Preanesthetic blood testing is available and recommended prior to any anesthetic procedure. Using the most modern equipment, the patient’s vital signs are monitored during all anesthetic procedures with some of the most modern anesthetic monitoring equipment available in veterinary medicine.

Radiology Services: Our on-site, state of the art digital X-ray equipment provides the highest quality radiographs available in veterinary medicine today to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of many disorders. Digital radiology also allows for rapid consultations with radiography specialists. Ultrasound services can be scheduled for those patients requiring cardiac or abdominal echos.

Electrocardiography Services: We provide ECG services on-site as well as consultations with cardiology specialists.

Laboratory: Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis and parasite testing. Most results can be received in less than ten minutes. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.

Pharmacy: We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos and heartworm preventatives to meet the needs of your pet.

Dentistry: Our dental services include ultrasonic teeth cleaning and polishing, full mouth digital dental radiographs, tooth extractions and oral surgery. All dental prophylaxis include application of OraVet Barrier Sealant.

Physical Therapy: We provide basic physical therapy needs for post-operative orthopedic patients. We provide instructions and guidance for physical therapy at home.

Counseling on individualized flea control programs, nutrition/obesity and behavior: We develop programs for the specific needs of your pet and your own particular environmental situation. We provide guidance regarding your pets’ nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance, and performance. We can provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling and aggression.

Pet Resort (Under Construction): There is no place better for your pets to stay while your away than your veterinary hospital. All guests receive personal attention from our caring staff. Guests vacationing with us for longer than one week will receive a complimentary bath prior to going home. Pets may be admitted and picked up during regular business hours Monday through Saturday.

Bathing: Routine and therapeutic bathing services are available. All include nails trimmed and a gentle ear cleaning with our cleansing solution.
