Technicians
The Animal Medical Center of Lehigh Acres an AAHA-certified 3 doctor small animal hospital is seeking a career oriented, experienced technician with a minimum of two years experience. Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while multi-tasking and maintaining strong attention to detail. The ideal applicant must possess excellent skills in anesthesia, radiology, IV catheter placement, venipuncture, patient restraints/handling, and drug calculation. Basic knowledge of Idexx Vetlab and related equipment, Laser, Digital X-ray, Dental X-ray and Cornerstone preferred. Additionally, candidate must demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and team player skills. Must be proficient in patient handling, monitoring, supportive therapy, treatments, and emergency procedures. The ability to work weekends is a must. This is a strict drug-free work environment. We are a four doctor AAHA accredited practice that specializes in providing high quality, compassionate and convenient care for our patients. We are seeking an energetic, reliable and professional veterinary receptionist who recognize the importance of the relationships between humans and animals and who see our clients and patients as extended family. Our practice provides many services such as wellness services, surgery, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, laser therapy, laser surgery, an in-house laboratory and pet resort. We are committed to providing the most advanced veterinary diagnostics and treatments in an environment of care and compassion.
